Astrid Lindgren - 1993

Astrid Lindgren had a deep love for the Småland forests, a love that was reflected in her stories and life choices. In 1993, her interest was captured by a painting created by Roger Fällman, an artist whose motifs are characterized by precisely these atmospheric forests. The painting became a reminder of the landscape that shaped her imagination and gave life to the characters and stories loved by generations

United States - 1995

In 1995, a generous donor ordered a custom-made painting by Roger Fällman. The painting was created with care and became a tribute to the beauty of nature, the house and the area.

The donor, who later donated his house to the municipality to be converted into a museum, saw the painting as a perfect part of the house's future history. The painting thus became not only a work of art, but also a symbol of a place where nature, art and history meet.

2000 - Back to the roots

When Roger Fällman, who grew up in Kungsängen outside Stockholm, was asked to create an artistic design for the new double track between Kallhäll and Kungsängen before the opening in 2000, it was a task with personal significance. For Roger, who grew up with the landscapes and environments that his work would reflect, it became a chance to unite his roots with his art. His creation became a tribute to the places that shaped him and a lasting feature for travelers who pass there every day.
